Muscle Restore

Formerly known as the “MobiliBal” class, Muscle Restore teaches you how to relieve stressed and tense muscles through self-myofascial release (deep tissue massage). This class will help you avoid injuries, gain mobility and overall help you move better without pain. Minimize risks of injury and maximize your performance! (There is an “open-door” policy for this class – join in even after the class has begun!)

Beginner Yoga

This is a gentle to moderate class in pace with detailed instructions for basic yoga poses in a welcoming and supportive environment. This is a wonderful place to explore and begin your yoga practice. Increase flexibility and build strength while relaxing the mind and body.

Gentle Yoga

Relax and stretch the body in this gentle yoga that will follow the practice of Hatha Yoga at a slow and comfortable pace. This class is great for beginners and experienced yoga students who are looking to nurture and nourish their mind, body and spirit. This class will include yoga postures (asana, breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation.

Flow Yoga

Learning to flow with your breath is a very intelligent way to move the body and the main focus in this dynamic practice. Stick to the basics when feeling like a mellow practice or play with the more challenging variations when feeling up to it. This practice will take each joint through its range of motion to improve circulation and production of synovial fluid. Poses to help improve or maintain the cardiovascular, lymphatic and endocrine systems in good function while working on maintaining the proper postural alignment of the body.

Yin Yoga

Focusing on the Yin tissues in the body; connective, organ, joint, gland, this practice decompresses and realigns the physical body while training the mind to focus. This class presents an opportunity for the body to recover from the stresses of physical activity and/or sitting in a desk all day. The sequences of postures taught in this style are designed to release tension in the areas of hips, spine shoulder and neck. The postures themselves are held for 3-5 minutes to ensure the yin tissues are affected appropriately.

Yin/Yang Yoga

The body is taken through a sequence of poses in order to balance the Yin (see above) and Yang (muscle) tissues in the body. The challenges of modern life result in certain areas of the body needing a more Yin (deep relaxing and letting go) approach and other areas needing more Yang (activating, strengthening).

Hatha Yoga

This is a classical approach to yoga that incorporates postures, breath work and relaxation of the mind and body. This class is open to all levels as it encourages an increase in flexibility and strength while relaxing the mind and body. All levels are welcome.

Hot Detox Flow

Proper core activation is emphasized while playing with the yoga poses. An intense core routine is done early in the class sequencing to build a connection to the core of the body as well as kick start the body’s detoxifying fire. Discover how to train the core muscles to support the low back and learn to move through the yoga poses (and life!) with the lightness of a ninja.

Power Yoga

A challenging experience using your body weight to strength train. Poses emphasize eccentric contractions in a controlled, alignment oriented way to develop strength and flexibility at the same time. Beginners with a good fitness background are welcome and if more advanced practitioners arrive then the teacher will give more advanced variations. The focus of this class is to learn to use your body as one united force.
