Fall Session (14 weeks): September 7 – December 16
Winter Session (8 weeks):  January 11 – March 10
Spring Session (12 weeks): March 22 – June 23

Mites (Ages 5-7 / 7-9) and Futures (Ages 9-12 / 12-16)

Please note that lessons do not run on the holiday long weekends (Thanksgiving, Family Day, Easter and Victoria Day), and are subject to change due to OAC event scheduling. Pre-register for all 3 sessions and save 5%.

Mighty Mites

The youngest students receive a fun and effective introduction to the game, and then move on to impressively skillful play under the tutelage of top teachers. This program, guided by the ‘progressive tennis’ curriculum of Tennis Canada and the Noble Tennis School Methodology, provides maximum enjoyment and improvement.

AGES 5-7

  • Saturday: 10:30 – 11:30 am
  • Sunday: 10:30 – 11:30 am

AGES 7-9

  • Friday: 4:30 – 6:00 pm
  • Saturday: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm
  • Sunday: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm

Level Range: Pure Beginner to Mites Advanced / UTR Rating: n/a

Student Requirements: Ability to function within appropriate age group setting

Competitive Requirement: n/a

Physical Training Requirement: n/a – lessons incorporate motor skills, balance, spatial awareness, body awareness, rhythm.

Minimum Commitment: Seasonal, 1, 2 or 3 group lessons per week

Program Priorities:

  • A fun, organized, effective introduction to the game of tennis!
  • Students progress from pure to beginner to Mites Advanced level on the 12m or 18m court, with red or orange ball.

Program Features:

  • Full-time NTS Program Leaders
  • 1:4 Coach-Student ratio
  • Maximum 4 students per court
  • Modified equipment and racquets supplied
  • Kids are divided into ‘pods’ to ensure suitable levels of challenge

Curriculum emphasizes games that introduce kids to the situations, strokes, skills and rules of tennis. Advanced pods can rally and play over the mini-net on the 12m court or regular net on the 18m court.


Futures Program

AGES 9 – 12:

  • Fridays: 4:30 – 6:00 pm
  • Fridays: 6:00 – 7:30 pm
  • Saturdays: 9:00 – 10:30 am
  • Sundays: 1:00 – 2:30 pm

AGES 12 – 16:

  • Fridays: 6:00 – 7:30 pm
  • Saturdays: 1:00 – 2:30 pm
  • Sundays: 9:00 – 10:30 am

Level Range: Low Intermediate. This program is not for pure beginners. UTR Rating: Unrated to 3.0

Student Requirements: Ability to function within appropriate age group setting

Competitive Requirement: n/a

Physical Training Requirement: n/a – lessons incorporate motor skills, balance, spatial awareness, body awareness, rhythm.

Minimum Commitment: Seasonal, 1, 2 or 3 times per week group training

Program Priorities:

  • A fun, effective, highly-organized program for players of Low Intermediate level
  • Students progress from Low Intermediate towards Intermediate level (NTS Intermediate annual program, UTR of 3.0-5.0)

Program Features:

  • Full-time NTS Program Leaders
  • 1:4 Coach-Student ratio
  • Maximum 4 students per court
  • Modified equipment and racquets supplied
  • Kids are divided into ‘pods’ to ensure suitable levels of challenge

Curriculum emphasizes the 5 Playing Situations, the Process of Play (Ready-Set-Stroke), Stroke Development, Rules of the Game, and the ability to play Singles and Doubles.
