The Ottawa Athletic Club is excited to announce our new partnership with Fitquest, under the direction of sports performance coach and NHL Strength and Conditioning coach, Chris Schwarz (Ottawa Senators).

Individuals and sports teams trust Fitquest to help them reach and maintain their goals. Their evidence-based approach to personal training and athlete training is ahead of its time. Fitquest personal trainers and sports performance trainers have extensive education and experience in elite athlete training, kinesiology, and strength and conditioning training. They take pride in their clients’ development and that shows in their results.

Team In-Season / Off Ice Training Options

Fall 2017 – Winter 2018

Service includes:

  • 60 minute sessions for up to 18 athletes at Fitquest’s OAC location
  • Fitquest Strength & Conditioning Coach to design and facilitate training sessions
  • Ongoing communication with team coach or manager to review playing and practice schedule as well as team training priorities
  • Development Topics and Team Challenges incorporated into weekly sessions
  • Team Fitquest Online Site with sample at-home program (Available for teams that commit to 10+ sessions – please inquire)

Available upon request:

  • Team Nutritional Guidance sessions
  • Team Testing and Assessments
  • Team Warmup and Potentiation sessions

Required by team:

  • 1 adult team representative on site for each session
  • Minimum of 48 hours cancellation notice

Athlete Development

  • Closely supervised, small group sessions for athletes in any team or individual sport
  • Maximum 8 athletes per session
  • 60 minute sessions allow focused athletes to individually further develop areas such as strength, power, stability, agility, conditioning, injury prevention/rehabilitation

Hours (please inquire for specific schedule):

  • Weekdays 4:00 – 6:00 pm
  • Saturday mornings
