Fitquest has over 25 years of experience working with athletes of all ages and abilities, at both amateur and professional levels.
Fitquest’s experienced performance professionals – under the direction of sports performance coach and NHL Strength and Conditioning coach, Chris Schwarz (Ottawa Senators) – assess each group / individual initially to customize and apply their proven science and coaching technologies. We then work together with athletes, coaches, and parents to ensure we implement specific elements and programming that will develop:
- Specific sport performance
- Overall health and athleticism
- Individual needs in a group setting
- Athlete’s knowledge (with the goal of being self-sufficient)
Benefits of Small Group Training compared to Team Training:

2018 Summer Programs (April 30 – August 31)
Summer Athlete Development Program (ADP)
The Athlete Development Program is designed to help focused athletes (ages 10 and older) reach their performance goals. The ADP focuses on the individual’s goals, training in small groups up to a maximum of 8 athletes.
Elite Hockey Groups
Fitquest’s programs have developed thousands of athletes that have successfully played or are playing at the highest levels of hockey. This specific program is for the focused elite level male hockey player (NCAA, OHL or U18 AAA) looking to develop their hockey performance through off-ice training, attention to overall athleticism and health. Fitquest coaches will develop and mentor each player in a small group setting (8 athletes max per group). An assessment is performed with each individual athlete prior to the start of the program in order to set out training priorities for the summer. Group assignment will be based on players’ level of expertise and hockey played in the 2017-2018 season to ensure efficient training groups.
Hockey Athlete Development Groups
This program is designed for Bantam level hockey athletes (AAA/AA) that are looking to develop specific off-ice aspects of agility, power, stability, strength and conditioning. With our experienced background in the science and development of young athletes’ mentorship, we will develop the goals of each individual player and ensure that they apply it to a successful season next year. An assessment will be performed with each athlete to ensure they are assigned to proper group. Each group has a maximum capacity of 8 players per group.
Girls Elite Hockey Group
This program is designed for girls playing NCAA, CIS, PWHL or Midget hockey that are looking to develop attention to overall athleticism and health through off-ice training. With our experienced background in mentorship, exercise science application and coaching we will develop the goals of each individual athlete. An assessment will be performed with each athlete to ensure high quality training groups. Each group has a maximum capacity of 8 players per group.
Volleyball Spring/Summer Group
This program is designed for to any U15 to CIS competitive volleyball player looking to develop their specific power, agility, strength and overall athleticism. With our experienced background in mentorship, exercise science application and coaching we will develop the goals of each individual player to ensure athletes can perform at the highest level next year while remaining injury free. An assessment will be performed with each athlete to properly set up training groups. Each group has a maximum capacity of 8 players per group.
