Fitquest

Fitquest has over 25 years of experience working with athletes of all ages and abilities, at both amateur and professional levels. Their evidence-based approach to personal training and athlete training is ahead of its time. Fitquest personal trainers and sports performance trainers have extensive education and experience in elite athlete training, kinesiology, and strength and conditioning training. They take pride in their clients’ development and that shows in their results.

Fitquest’s experienced performance professionals – under the direction of sports performance coach and NHL Strength and Conditioning coach, Chris Schwarz (Ottawa Senators) – assess each group / individual initially to customize and apply their proven science and coaching technologies. We then work together with athletes, coaches, and parents to ensure we implement specific elements and programming that will develop:

  • Specific sport performance
  • Overall health and athleticism
  • Individual needs in a group setting
  • Athlete’s knowledge (with the goal of being self-sufficient)

Benefits of Small Group Training compared to Team Training:

  • Athletes are able to work on individual weaknesses / imbalances to find their individual success in small group setting
  • Lower strength coach to athlete ratio to ensure more attention and mentorship by Fitquest coaches
  • Adjustments to individual workloads and recovery can be
  • individually monitored and adjusted
