The Ottawa Athletic Club is excited to announce our new partnership with FitQuest, under the direction of sports performance coach and NHL Strength and Conditioning coach, Chris Schwarz (Ottawa Senators).

Individuals and sports teams trust FitQuest to help them reach and maintain their goals. Their evidence-based approach to personal training and athlete training is ahead of its time. FitQuest personal trainers and sports performance trainers have extensive education and experience in elite athlete training, kinesiology, and strength and conditioning training. They take pride in their clients’ development and that shows in their results.


Sport Fundamental Development Program (Competitive Session)

  • This session is for Focused Competitive Athletes, Ages 10 & 11

As an organization that trains the “elite” of the elite athletes, Fitquest lives by the philosophy that every athlete must first have the ability to play all sports. The Fitquest Sport Fundamental Development program is designed to develop and challenge a young athlete’s fundamental and functional movement skills, building on his or her athleticism through specific and non-specific tasks and activities. In these 75 minute sessions, each young athlete will be challenged in athletic based skills such as jumping, sprinting, throwing and catching, gymnastics and multi-planar movement.The program will also include supplementary topics such as the importance of nutrition, sleep, warm-ups and more.

6 Closely Supervised small group sessions (max 12 athletes). Each training session will focus on new skills and specific sport activities.

Adult Athlete Program: Strength for Life

This 8-week adult training program is designed for participants ages 35+ active at all levels of play.  This program will help individuals excel at their sport using different warm up techniques (foam rolling, mobility drills, statics and dynamic stretches) as well as stability, strength, agility and conditioning training specific to their sport.

Program begins on Tuesday January 10th and includes:

  • Baseline & Final Fitness Assessment
  • Weekly Group Training
  • Satellite Online Home Program
  • Nutritional Guidance
  • Continued support from your Fitquest coach Alex Vaduva to ensure accountability and motivation
