Children and Youth Programs
Our child and youth fitness programs are designed with whole body health in mind. Lead by qualified fitness professionals in a motivating and inspiring atmosphere classes encourage physical activity, increase body awareness, increase self-esteem and are guaranteed fun! With childhood obesity on the rise and a decrease of physical activity in society we encourage our young members to move their bodies in a safe environment with their friends. They get to work out just like mom and dad and enjoy the amazing atmosphere that the OAC offers. With numerous class options we have something for everyone.
Kids (4 – 8 years) & Youth (9 – 13 years) Yoga
January 15 – March 5
Mondays 4:30-5:30 pm, Studio B (Kids) / Yoga Studio (Youth)
A great program that will allow children to develop a strong, flexible and healthy mind, body and spirit as well increase concentration, attention and focus. Yoga for children is an opportunity for them to find tranquility and peace while improving body health.
Aqua Kids (6 – 10 years)
January 16 – March 6
Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 pm, Indoor Pool
Jump in and join the fun! Make waves, move your body, become comfortable challenging your cardio and muscular endurance and have fun under the guidance of a CALA certified aquafitness leader. This brand new class format at the OAC is sure to be a splash!
Dance Collective (5 – 10 years)
January 17 – March 7
Wednesdays 4:45-5:45 pm, Barre Studio
An exciting dance class that will get your children motivated and moving to great music with fun and simple choreography!
Zumba Kids (4 – 8 years & 9 – 13 years)
January 13 – March 3
(4 – 8 years) Saturdays 9:30-10:15 am, Barre Studio
(9-13 years) Saturdays 10:15-11:00 am, Barre Studio
