Please join us the first Monday of the month to find out which personal trainer will be sharing their top 3 favorite exercises!  We will focus on different body parts throughout 2019 to give you a variety of exercises to choose from!  To start it off January is all about biceps with Fitness Director and Personal Trainer Joanne.  Add these three exercises to your repertoire and you will see a difference!  Standing barbell curl, alternating seated bicep curl, and high cable curl.  Here are a few important tips for January’s #top3!

These exercises should all be done with full range of motion.
  • Wrists should be neutral position
  • Shoulders should be down…(common mistake)
  • Elbows should be locked…(no swinging)
  • Focus on the muscle you are working
  • Keep the tempo slow
  • Form is key
  • Remember quality over quantity
