We work with every department within our facility to bring exciting new fitness programs to help you live your best life. Our goal is to promote healthy living, strength, speed, agility, and much more by offering information on the latest techniques.

Primal Workout

Join Personal Trainer Bernardo as he leads you through fundamental and functional movements to help you regain your natural movement and reset your mobility, balance and strength to their original settings in a fun, safe and engaging way!

Intro Session: Wednesday April 10 | 5:45 – 6:45 pm

Yoga Sculpt

Attention all fitness enthusiasts! Do you think yoga may not be challenging enough? Do you want to get more out of your yoga class in a shorter amount of time? Do you feel that yoga doesn’t give you the burn you appreciate in your circuit training classes? Then Yoga Sculpt is the class for you!

By incorporating the use of hand weights with familiar yoga poses, we turn up the heat on your muscles and heart rate, while still allowing the same mind-clearing benefits yoga provides. This power flow will help you achieve more strength in the poses, endurance and the body sculpting you may be looking for.

Come challenge your muscles in this 60 min class, twice/week for 8 weeks and feel the difference in your strength level in your regular flow classes!

Align & Refine Yoga Workshop

Join Deborah Muxlow Curow to Align & Refine physically, energetically and mindfully.  Transform your practice by aligning and refining the physical and mindful aspects of the foundations of yoga.  This workshop is ideal for those at the beginning of their yoga journey and perfect for anyone wishing to refresh the fundamentals of their yoga practice.

Align & Refine 101 will help you improve your technique, posture and breath in the foundational yoga poses.  Through an alignment based, heart-centered approach, you will learn to transition safely and effectively through the fundamental poses of yoga, creating a strong foundation for your practice.

The first part of the workshop will be dedicated to deepening your understanding of the important benefits of a yoga practice for your body, mind and spirit.  We will also focus on the correct alignment, techniques and modifications of the foundational yoga poses, with the opportunity for one-on-one cueing and “tweaking” of postures, to reduce the risk of injury.  The second part of the workshop provides an opportunity to integrate this knowledge by incorporating the poses and transitions into a choreographed yoga class, connecting the poses and transitions with the breath.   The class will include components to create strength, balance, flexibility, a connection with your breath and a sense of inner calm.

Co-Ed Self Defense / Kickboxing Class

Join James Kouame, Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion and Self Defense training expert in our new co-ed Self Defense class!

Did you know:

  • There are over 750,000 people assaulted each year, including men;
  • Self Defense empowers you and gives you the confidence to make the right decision in times of crisis;
  • Self Defense takes practice!

James will teach you how to first try to de-escalate the situation, then if all else fails how to defend yourself through various hand-to-hand and/or use of common devices you may have. (Keys, Cell phone, purses, etc.)

Available for purchase as a single drop-in sessions or packages of 10, 20, or 30 classes!

Standard First Aid & CPR-C with AED Skills and Recert – Standard First Aid with CPR-C and AED Skills

Standard First Aid & CPR-C with AED Skills candidates will learn comprehensive training covering all aspects of First Aid and CPR.

  • All Emergency First Aid Items
  • Spinal Injuries
  • Legal Implications
  • Heat or cold emergencies
  • Bone or joint injuries
  • Circulatory emergencies (heart attack, stroke, etc.)

Standard Dates

  • May 11-12, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm / Mandatory 2 days
  • No prerequisite needed, and course includes Lifesaving Society – Canadian First Aid Manual and Elemental First Aid Pocket Mask

Recert Dates

  • May 12, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

This course is recognized by Ontario’s Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB)


CPR-C/AED Course

CPR-C candidates will learn:

  • All aspects of CPR Skills and Theory
  • Two-Rescuer CPR
  • AED Use
